NEXT LOCAL COMPETITION INFO Winter Ball - Olga's Competition January 10, 2009 Oly's Dance Studio 2931 Bond St • Everett, WA 98201 website: www.olysdance.com FEES TBA COSTUME UPDATE -Girls, Please bring to class what you are planning to wear for the competition to get it approved -Competition skirts are in! Please contact Katie for all of your competition supplies including-skirts, shoes, leotards, fishnets, and hair essentials packet. Ladies Please go directly to dressing room area to finish hair, get dressed, and warm up with your partner. If you need help with your hair please contact me BEFORE that Saturday. What to wear: Juniors – For both latin and standard-Black or white top(that can be tucked in) or leotard. If wearing a top make sure to also have black dance trunks. Black skirt NO shorter than 4” above the knee and no longer than right below the knee cap. Nylons, Fishnets, and dance shoes. Hair up in clean bun. Use plenty of bobby pins and hair net. Only minimum makeup needed. Most of these supplies can be purchased from Katie at the studio and will also be required for team performances. Youth- Same as juniors only you can wear a longer skirt for the standard if you choose. Make sure it is above your ankles so as to not trip while dancing. Gentlemen Please go directly to dressing room area to get dressed and warmed up with your partner. Remember to bring $5 for your competition number. This money will be refunded to you after you return your number at the completion of the competition. What to wear: Standard- Black dance pant, black socks, and dance shoes. White long sleeved shirt ironed and tucked in with black bow or straight tie. Black vest is optional. Hair needs to be neatly combed Latin- Same as for standard.
